Kim and I met when we both worked for the same client. (Like me, she's a graphic designer.) Over the years she has become a dear friend, and one-third of the "Travel Divas" (Noelle being the founding TD). Some things about Kim that I tried to incorporate in this quilt: She has a chocolate lab, Tera; is a musician (dulcimer) and loves music in general; she lives near ancient petroglyphs; has traveled to South America; has a truck (that's a Jeep button, though it's hard to see); is a typographer; loves camping; and is a huge "Lord of the Rings" fan, as well as other types of fantasy/science fiction. You got all that from the quilt already, right?
