My co-worker, Todd, and his wife, Becky, had Katy in early 2003. I'd received some fabric from Nora in my sewing group (clothing, not quilting!) that seemed just right for a little girl's quilt. The back is pink seersucker, given to me by another quilter, my former neighbor Cynthia. You can see that I did a simple diagonal pattern for the quilting.

Katy has an older brother, Austin. It seemed too mean to give Katy a quilt but nothing to Austin, so I made him a pillow.
