I made this pillow for Austin, a little boy, after my co-worker, Todd, and his wife, Becky, had a daughter named Katy in early 2003, and I made her a quilt.

The fabrics were purchased from St. Theresa Textile Trove in Spring 2003 at the Alegre Quilt Retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Austin calls this his "Turtle Pillow," and his dad says he loves it.  You can't really see, but I stitched his name along the zipper with my fancy sewing machine.
